About Me

Welcome, and thank you for being here. I’m Dr. Erica Lemoyne, and I’m glad you’ve taken the first step in visiting my practice. I am deeply passionate about the work I do and bring over a decade of experience supporting adults through a wide range of life difficulties. My approach to counseling is integrative and personalized, drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities and thoughtful lifestyle-based strategies to support the whole person. I focus on overall well-being—mind, body, and emotional health—using evidence-based practices to help clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful change. Whether you are seeking support for a specific concern or simply looking to better understand yourself, my goal is to offer a space that feels grounded, supportive, and collaborative. I look forward to walking alongside you on your path toward growth and healing.

"Professional Experience"

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with advanced training in counseling psychology, psychological assessment, leadership and program development. I hold a Doctorate in Counseling and School Psychology from Rivier University, an APA-accredited program, where my research examined health locus of control in adults with epilepsy and the moderating role of anxiety on health behaviors related to seizure prediction. My doctoral training emphasized diagnostic clarification and psychological assessment, including evaluations for ADHD, PTSD, OCD, and memory impairment. I also earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. I am currently licensed in New Hampshire (#2025), Massachusetts (LMHC100015) and Maine (CC8602). I work exclusively with adults, using an integrative and collaborative approach that is tailored to each individual’s goals, strengths, and needs. Therapy is a partnership, and when helpful, I collaborate with other healthcare and mental health professionals to support comprehensive care. My work takes a holistic view of mental health, recognizing the connection between emotional, psychological, physical, cultural and social factors, supporting clients in developing sustainable strategies for well-being.During my postdoctoral work, I gained experience across a wide range of clinical and systems-based settings, including primary care, outpatient mental health counseling, substance use disorder treatment, neuropsychological testing, and leadership/program development. I continue to collaborate with professionals across disciplines to support effective clinical and community-based programming. In addition to clinical practice, I have presented on a variety of topics, including cultural perspectives on eating disorders, work-related burnout, complex grief, aging across the lifespan, death and dying, substance use assessment and treatment, biological components of addiction, anxiety and stress management, expressive therapies, body image, and the influence of society and media on mental health. I have also presented on frameworks for the predictive brain, integrating healthy behaviors and reward-based approaches to support adaptive functioning and overall well-being. As an approved Clinical Mental Health Supervisor in New Hampshire, I enjoy supporting clinicians in training as they develop confidence, competence, and a strong professional foundation.
